1. There is no charge for our service. We are paid by our speakers. Because our speakers are busy, they are happy to pay us for providing you with information about them; following up with you; and then booking them for your event. Everybody wins.

You could spend hours looking through brochures and other materials in search of what you believe would be the perfect speaker for your event. There are numerous phone calls back and forth and a lot of time can be wasted in your search. We already have long-term, established relationships with our speakers. Placing professional speakers is what we do every day, so why not let the us do all that busy, time-consuming work so you can plan your event with one less worry?

3. You get the right speaker for your audience at the right price. If you were to hire a speaker yourself, you may find yourself wondering, "How do I know I am getting a really good speaker that will be a hit at my event?" We have previewed our speakers and we know their qualifications. We have placed them over and over again for conventions, meetings, special events and other places where a professional speaker would add to the value of the event. We gather some basic information from you that will lead us to the right speaker for your needs and budget. We will then give you several choices and help you make the right decision.

Answers to Questions You May Have

Are your speakers available at the last minute?

There may be times when certain circumstances beyond your control have left you without your scheduled speaker, or you just have a last-minute need to fill your schedule. Just give us a call and we will deliver you a first-class speaker to meet your specifications, often within just a few hours.

Can you negotiate on my behalf?

Yes, we will give you the "set" fees of the speaker, but if your budget falls below a certain speaker's fee and you would like us to negotiate on your behalf, we will always contact the speaker and make an offer for you.

Are there any other fees?

If you have chosen a speaker that does not reside in Las Vegas, then your consultant will let you know if there are travel and lodging expenses in addition to the fee quoted. These would be the only additional charges.

Can the speaker join us at our dinner, cocktail party, or golf outing?

It all depends on scheduling and the speaker's preference. Many speakers welcome an invitation to join the group for dinner and/or other social functions. Some speakers enjoy socializing with an audience before making their scheduled presentation, while others prefer that the audience meet them, for the first time, when they are formally introduced. Also, the toll of a hectic travel schedule may preclude a speaker from socializing before or after their presentation. Because a golf outing requires a commitment to a certain block of time, accepting to join the group for the outing will depend on the speaker's schedule. Special arrangements can sometimes be made, for an additional fee, to have a "celebrity" join the group on their golf outing. We are always happy to extend your invitation to the speaker. These arrangements must be made well in advance of the event.

Will we be able to purchase the speaker's products, books and tapes, etc.?

Absolutely. Most speakers who have books, tapes and other specialty items are usually more than willing to sell their products. A speaker's product can add tremendous value to a speaker's appearance. It gives an audience member a useful reference source to the speaker's message and a memento of the speaker.

• A speaker may display his/her products on a table for sale to the audience after his/her presentation at the back of the room. This arrangement is strictly at the discretion of the client. Speakers must have prior approval to display and sell their product at the back of the room.
• The most effective and elegant way is to pre-purchase the speaker's product (book or tape) to be given as a gift, from the organization to each member of the audience. The product may be shipped to attendees in advance of the event, included as part of the conference materials or given to each member of the audience at the time of the presentation. Most speakers will be more than delighted to sign each book and/or product. We will negotiate with the speaker to achieve the best price for you. The speaker may also ask to sell their products to the audience at the end of their presentation.

Will the speaker customize or tailor his/her presentation for my particular meeting and audience?

In most cases, yes! At LVPSB, we encourage our speakers to customize and tailor their presentations to your audience. Most speakers conduct interviews with key people in your organization to more effectively tailor their presentation. Let your consultant know your needs!

What is my next step?

Simply give us a call at 214-802-7660 or fill out the request for a speaker form. We gather some basic information from you regarding the type of speaker you are requesting. At this time, we can discuss details of your event. We will then contact several speakers we believe will fit your criteria and ask them to hold the date. At this time, we will either email or send you information on those selected speakers of your choice and help you zero in on one speaker. We then can arrange a conversation with both parties to help you finalize your selection. Keep in mind that we can obtain just about any speaker, celebrity, or famous financial, motivational, inspirational speaker, provided they are available for your date.
